Community and Service

Over the last 40 years WAI has given back to the community we live and work in.  WAI gives back to the Houston community with the Indo-American-Charity Foundation (IACF).  IACF provides grants to Houston area non-profits and scholarships to Houston area students..  WAI also has provided pro-bono design and implementation of these notable fixtures in Houston.

Mahatma Gandhi District – WAI designed and worked with council members of the City of Houston for the approval of this sign marker located at the entrance to Houston’s own Indian enclave on Hillcroft St.

 

Sikh Center of Houston – WAI served as the design firm for the expansion and renovation of the first Sikh Gurdwara in Houston.   WAI construction team was also instrumental in the renovation of the Diwan Hall, Langar Hall and completion of the project.
